About us
I’m Shimmy, your local connection to the Kraków most tourists never see.
After spending years in corporate software development working on innovative technologies like self-driving cars and AI-driven applications, I realized the essential factor was missing: human connection, meaning, and the feeling that what I do actually matters. I found that meaning in helping people truly understand places – not just see Kraków, but feel its weight: the centuries of struggle, the resilience, the beauty earned through survival.
Now I’m combining both – engineering precision with storytelling passion – to help visitors experience Kraków beyond the guidebook. Whether you want deep cultural immersion or simply reliable service with local insights, I handle the details so you can enjoy the journey.
Let’s plan your Kraków experience!
Testimonials
We hired Shimmy to drive us from Krakow to Wrocław. He was a pleasure to be with. Spending time with a friendly local was a great experience. I learned a lot about Krakow and added a few things to my list for next time we visit. We spent a week in Krakow and I wish we would’ve hired him to see a number of sites around and outside of the city that I learned about from him.
Simon was a great host and made sure we got to our Salt Mine tour. It was a great experience getting there and back. Simon is a gifted communicator and has the hospitality that makes Krakow proud. The pickup and drop off were simple and Simon is extremely sharp, If you come to Krakow I recommend traveling with Simon
What a 5 star guy Simon is! Simon spoke perfect English and could not have been more helpful. We were staying in Apartments with no Reception and EasyJet hadn’t given the company our contact details. Consequently we could not get a PIN and codes to get us in the building or access the key safes. I rang the Krakow contact number 4 or 5 times but simply got a recorded message in Polish which I could not understand. Even though it was not his responsibility, Simon traced another number for us and sorted out the whole issue. Without his help we would have had nowhere to stay. He was an absolute Star!! Thank you so much, Simon!!
Simon was our driver on 5th July, what delightful young man, he arrived on time and was very knowledgeable on the drive to the airport, I wish we had met him at beginning of our wonderful 6 days in Krakow, we had such a laugh at things he was saying, Thanks Simon you are gem xx
Simon is a cultured and knowledgeable young man, who looked after us with humour and offered many insights into our destination (in particular), and Polish life and culture (in general). You'll have a very pleasant, laid back and informative time with him. Eamonn & Angela (Irl).
